Microscope Accessories and Replacement Parts
General accessories and parts for use with microscopes. Products include lens oil, lens cleaner, slide dispensers, microscope covers, vessel holders, light cubes, and flow cells.
Many parts of your microscope can be updated or replaced including microscope lamps, lenses, and eyepieces. Replacement lamps, light sources, and power cords can extend the working lives of your microscopy equipment. New or replacement objectives and lenses can help increase the total magnification available with your microscope.
Add greater magnification or exchange your eyepiece for one with a reticule to more easily estimate the sizes of the items being viewed.
Replace or update your mechanical stage or clamps or add cell culture vessel adapters to facilitate specimen positioning.
Condensers can also be replaced, and conversion kits are available to add phase contrast, polarization, fluorescence, or other capabilities to your current system.
Some microscopes can be adapted for use with still or video cameras. Look for cameras and adapters designed for your specific microscope brand. Film and documentation-related products may also be available to support your record-keeping.
Temporary, semi-permanent, and more long-term slide storage options include:
- Slide racks that securely hold slides during staining procedures

Ted Pella Inc Lacey Carbon Type-A, 300 mesh, Copper, 25/pk
A Lacey carbon film with a removable Formvar backing on the opposite side of the grid. When the Formvar is removed, by dipping in solvent, the Lacey carbon film remains. These films are stable under all EM operating conditions and for use where the presence of Formvar can not be tolerated. Pure Lacey Carbon is more delicate than those with Formvar backing and require more careful handling during specimen preparation. Holes are completely open.

Dino Lite MS15X-S1 XY/Rotation Base - Designed for Dino-Lite
MS15X-S1 is a multifunctional X/Y fine adjustment base designed for precise adjustment under Dino-Lite microscopes. NOR CAL PRODUCTS INC NW-50 Stainless Centering Ring with Screen
NW flanges utilize an aluminum clamp with a single wingnut fastener allowing frequent disassembly without tools. The vacuum seal is effected by uniform application of pressure by the clamp on the 15° surface of the 304 stainless steel flanges. The mating flange surfaces compress a FKM O-Ring held in place by a centering ring. Nor-Cal Products offers aluminum and stainless steel centering rings for NW flanges with Buna, silicone and FKM O-rings.
Sutter Instruments Micromanipulators
Right-handed micromanipulator with vertical lock with 1/2 inch rod clamps. The MM-33 is the right choice for tight environments which require maximum versatility within a small space. Stainless steel cross-loaded roller bearings are designed to offer low friction and smooth linear motion with a minimum of side play. The pre-loaded rollers are set at 90 degrees to the hardened steel guides insuring constant contact and accuracy. This precise rack and pinion drive gives stable, drift-free movement with minimal backlash. The controls are placed one above the other which makes for less hand movement and easier positioning. The scales for all axes are calibrated in 0.10mm increments and the fine micrometer adjustment for the X-axis thrust is calibrated at 0.01mm with estimates to 5μm.
Electron Microscopy Sciences Weibel 2 Graticle NGW2, 21mm
Used when making a surface to volume ratio of a structure per mass unit. This graticule consists of a number of short lines with interruptions as long as the lines. Basically, the number of intersections falling over the short lines is counted and the number of endpoints falling on the end of the structure is determined. Reference: E.R.
